GPS-verified visits

Proof on every stop.

Every pool gets a small zone around it. When the truck pulls in, arrival stamps itself. When it pulls out, departure does. Your tech doesn't tap a thing, and your customer sees the verified time on site.

Why it matters

Two minutes on paper. Thirty-two at the pool.

Most apps stamp the visit when the tech opens the app, often at the end of the stop. Pool Space stamps it when the truck arrives.

The old way · app opened

9:44 → 9:46

2 minutes. The tech did 30 minutes of work, then remembered to open the app. The customer's report says he was barely there.

Pool Space · GPS

9:14 → 9:46

32 minutes, verified. Stamped when the truck entered and left the zone. The same number shows up on your screen, the customer's report and the invoice.

What the owner sees

Every truck, every stop, without riding along.

  • Live route board: who's on site, who's driving, what's left.
  • Short-visit alerts: a 4-minute stop gets flagged before the customer calls. You set the threshold.
  • A record that settles disputes: arrival, departure, readings and photos on one page.

What the customer sees

"Did he even show up?" answered before they ask.

After every stop your customer gets a report with the verified time on site, readings and photos, under your company's name. Pool companies that verify every visit carry the Pool Space Verified mark.

  • Your brand, not ours: your logo and colors on the portal and emails.
  • Photos when they matter: equipment issues and before/after, not a forced "I'm here" selfie.

What the tech sees

Pull up, do the work, drive away.

The app handles the proof. Techs log readings in big, sun-readable fields, get the dose calculated for them, and move on.

  • No check-in button. Arrival and departure stamp themselves.
  • Works in dead zones. Stops save offline and sync later, with the original times.
  • On the clock only. Location is recorded during work hours and near stops. Never at home.
For pool techs

Built for trust, not surveillance

Proof of the work. Not a tracker.

Pool Space verifies visits. It doesn't follow people around.

  • Off the clock, off the map. No location outside work hours.
  • Only what's needed: zone entries and exits, not a breadcrumb trail for customers to see.
  • You set the rules: zone size and the short-visit threshold are yours to change.

Questions about GPS verification

How does GPS verification work?

Each pool has a zone around it, usually 75 feet. When the tech's phone enters the zone, arrival is stamped; when it leaves, departure is stamped. The tech doesn't have to open the app.

What if there's no cell service?

The phone still knows where it is. Stops save offline with the original times and sync when you're back in coverage.

Can I adjust the zone size?

Yes. Set the zone radius in Settings to fit your area, bigger for long driveways and gated streets.

What counts as a short visit?

You set it. Many owners start at 10 minutes. Short visits are flagged on your route board and in a weekly summary.

Will my techs push back?

Usually the opposite. There's no check-in button, no forced arrival photo, and the dose is calculated for them. It proves their work, too.
